so how are they determining this ? was the bun high? if only bun it is dehydration, or was the creatinine high? The creatinine is most critical not the bun so how are they diagnosing this ?? Kidney disease can be tied to high sodium diets so check the sodium content on everything as many meats are preserved in sodium and why frozen foods and processed foods have alot of sodium so this may be more of the culprit than protein content. I think this is why most say low protein for toy breeds like 22% because the higher protein usually means higher sodium - just something to look into
