I really didn't think asking the breeder "Do you health screen" was a bad question what so ever. She really did take offense to it. Oh I also asked "Have you ever had any genetic problems arise". Wow, that's when she cut me off and said "let me tell you about me". So that's when she started saying she had years of experience and I had nothing to worry about. That scared me away.

I answered every question she asked me and was fine with it. The other two breeders asked questions as well. They never once cut me off. Like I said, she may be a very nice lady and was having an off day... but she really made me frustrated.

True, I have never owned a Yorkie (which she didn't ask me once) but does that mean I'm not capable of caring for one properly? One reason my husband is in the living room telling me I need to spend time with him then be on here is because I'm doing as much research as possible and I'm not in any hurry to buy a pup. I just want to find a good breeder and now they are the real deal before the time comes. It may not be until next year we find a pup that is willing to have us as their family. I'm ok with that. But until then, I will be researching away

You guys are really great! You all have been so helpful. Thank you!
