I wouldn't worry about it. You did nothing wrong. If anyone of those emails showed any kind of meaness then they need to sit in a corner and think about what they said.

Many people refer to the little Yorkies as Teacup and I don't think it is a crime. When someone says this, they are just referring to the smaller than usual Yorkie.
