It's your pup and your choice! Although lots of people gave great advice, you get what you pay for. I may of went for top notch breeder with a good pup if my boyfriend was a doctor though
But I do have to agree with some points the OP made. I am researching and looking into breeding out Bull terrier. I went on a forum about them and all the breeders backlashed with very rude and ignorant comments, just because I am not like them? Or been doing it for 20 years or whatever. Everyone starts somewhere and if your willing to be responsible about it and produce healthy puppies why not, we can't all show dogs, its just not for some people, maybe you want to have pet quality pups. I know I am not going to get into showing, at least not now, but I have found a wonderful bullie breeder who is going to be chatting with me daily teaching me, I am even going to go to a show in a few weeks! |
I know you just lost Stormy but I am so concerned about your daughter with bull terriers, they have massive strength full grown no less as a puppy. Have you ever trained dogs before, this breed is not one to fool around with and although you can make some mistakes with some breeds this breed does need experience. Of course like you said experience does have to start somewhere but why with a breed just a few days ago you were thinking of rehoming. I could think of a 100 breeds to get your experience with that would be easier to train and not such a worry.
