If you click the link for the article and scroll down to the bottom you can see readers' comments. One person said she pleaded guilty and got only one year! usually if you plead guilty, it is most likely taking a plea bargain, which I'm sure is what she did. If she would have denied the charge, she would have gone to trial and then would have gotten a punishment more deserving of this horrible crime.
I hope someone roasts her in the oven while she is in jail.
