Buster & Bailey are fed twice a day (morning & night). We used to feed them 3x/day but around 5mths old they lost interest in eating at lunchtime, so we switched to 2x/day. I usually give them a treat when I go to back to work from my lunchbreak. My friend's 20 pound dog gets fed once a day, but I don't think my pups could handle that - they're tummies are too tiny. I think it all depends on the size of your dog & also what they are telling you.
