Did you get emails from certain people, or did you get the automatic emails that come to your email when someone replys to a topic. I use to get all sorts of emails when I first joined, thinking that people were emailing me, then I found out that it is something in our profile that you can change. I don't get the emails when someone replies to a topic that I replied to. I don't do that anymore as it fills up my email box too much.
Some people are over sensitive to the term "teacup". Don't worry about it.
