How old is this pup?
He should be treated w/ oral Diflucan for 6-8 weeks; another culture should be done at the 6wk mark to make sure it's negative for ringworm. Needs weekly baths w/ anti-fungal shampoo.
Long term - if fur loss, may take a while to come back.
As for disposition...can't really say. What is the "puppy place" like?
