Default Update - friend's house

Here's the deal: - it's not as long as it looks. LOL I put lots of spacing in for easy reading.

My friend says she would love to watch the puppies.
Now, I have some questions (big surprise, right?)

Question #1
If you were in my situation, what would you tell you friend regarding the puppies' safety? Please feel free to add to my list. By the time I finish she might tell me to take my pups and hit the road!

Puppy list
1.Keep them in the room (not on the floor). I know they will want to play with them; I just don't want them all over her house or outside.

2. Wash hands before playing with them - don't know if most people do that, but we do.

3. Don't let her dog near them

Question #2
She will get them for 5 days/4 nights starting the day they turn 6 weeks.
At that age do they usually still nurse in the middle of the night?

Remember, that mama will not go in the pen with them, so we have to put her in there to nurse. I worry that they might be hungry in the middle of the night, b/c I don't expect her to get up twice like we do to put mama in with them. I am not comfortable locking up her with them, since she constantly tries to get away from them.

Question #3
At this age (5-7 weeks) how many times do they nurse/day?

If I don't tell her to put Cassie in there a certain number of times, Cassie will completely dry up.

We are offering them puppy food throughout the day. They won't eat it on their own yet, but they will lick a bit off our fingers. By next week, hopefully, they will be gobbling it down. I was going to tell her to leave food in their pen throughout the night.
