Thanks for your response. Did I mention that he is also a poop eater, but I learned from many members here to give him pineapple. So far, it is working.
He has not been neutered since he is fairly small and a lot of his baby teeth are still intact. So we are waiting a few more months for that. Could that be a reason for the harder than normal potty training?

I also want to mention that the lady we got him from ( he was 6 months then), we noticed that when we visited him, he was walking all over her carpet area and would be peeing and she would not even reprimand him. She told me to just put a diaper on him. At the time, we thought it was funny, didn't think it would be a nightmare. We notice he only does his peeing and pooing accident on the carpet. When he is in the living room area which is tiled. He seems to be better. But we can't keep him in that area the whole time.
