The second opinion said they usually just treat with antibiotics to prevent infection and steriods for the swelling and it wasn't anything that couldn't wait until tomorrow. I would have never guessed when it happened I figured she was a goner. She got bit twice I think.
She isn't swelling so maybe the snake didn't give her any venom, the second vet was pretty puzzled about that, said usually they swell pretty quick.
So tomorrow morning we are going in for a check up. Scared me to death she was yelping on the front step I thought maybe she'd gotten bit by another dog she picks fights every now and then. I looked her over and saw a little blood on her leg, but the other dogs didn't quit barking and I looked out and saw the snake. Super scary I still haven't quit shaking yet.
