I woke up this morning and Pook was acting strange. She always gets in my bed after my husband leaves for work.This morning,instead of just getting in my bed,being her loving,hyper self,she was acting weird.She couldnt seem to get comfortable.I finally got her up and brought her in to the living room.She started walking backwards,kinda like she was backing away from me(She is usually attached to me,so this was weird),she would not look at me,and wouldnt acknowledge me when I called her,and kept whining.She had a normal bowel movement and urinated last night. Wouldnt eat or dink water today at all. I called the vet and took her to get checked out.The vet checked her out and said she cleaned out her anal glans,and gave me anti inflamatory medication,because the vet said one seemed a little painful. She had a bowel movement before I left the vets office. On the way home,she was more pert and actually climbed up in my lap. Got her home,she got on the couch and no sooner than we sat down,she on pillows and not moving and she cried out LOUDLY several times. I took her back to the vet.She checked her again.I along with the vet thought it may be her stomach or her left leg bothering her(she had surgery before for Leggs Perthes about 2 years ago).
Well,just now,I had to hand feed her to get her to eat,and when I went to pick her up to help her off the couch,she cried out again and when I touch her neck,head area,she cries out more.Theres nothing thats happened to her (accident,fall,injury) that I know of,and as Ive said,Im with her all the time.Anyone have any idea what could be wrong with her?
