i know its never nice to hear that your pets are fat. A lot of people just don't see it in their own pets. Working as a vet tech i'd be in the room with the vet and the clients. When the vet would tell the owners their pets were a bit on the chubby side they would look shocked when clearly any one else could see they were indeed overweight.

Take a picture of each of your pets standing above them and looking down. you can post here if you like to get other opinions. Looking at them from above you should be able to clearly see a larger chest that dips into a waist. if there is no distinction between chest and waist then your pet is overweight. i attached a pic of morgan so you can see what i mean
