My son is 23 and my daughter is 19. They always want this or that, and even when I know it's the wrong choice I give in to try to make them happy. That's why my son is so rotten. My son won't keep the crate in his room, because he says he doesn't have enough room, and that the dog keeps him up, so I have him in my room, and he wakes me up at 6 am to go out. Then my daughter comes out screaming, because when he's done he comes to the dog and barks which wakes her up. I'm not getting any cooperation with training him, and it's hard on me, because he sees my son as the alpha, and doesn't listen to me at all. I have to let him out by himself, and then I have to bring him in, and let the little ones out. I want to do what's best for him, and my own well being. I think I'm leaning toward a shepard rescue, because they know how to handle them, and can pick a family that would be better suited.
