Yorkies change colors for up to 2~3 yrs. The blk tips are probably his puppy fur growing out...kinda looks like he needs a dye job, need to cover those grays. Lol. Mimi was all bluish silver w/tan when she was a pup
& eventually when she turned almost 2, her whole head had turned tan.
