Animal Smiley 036 Doggies little dirty secret

I saw you plea of cries about your Bella and her poo eating habits
As I have suffered with small animals doing this It is embarrassing
and disgusting and you feel like there is something wrong with your
pet and you cant tell anyone
and you feel your a failure of a pet owner, but you are not

I use to have one dog who would play games on me

She pooped then she stood over the poop and barked right in front of it till I got there and soon as I got there to see why she was barking she snatched it up! HOw disgusting of her! I said no no and but she always snatched up the poop before I could get the poop
I began policing her she pooped and I ran to grab the poop
but she began feeling it was a challenge and reward for her to get
to snatch up and eat her poop before I could get it from her

I fought to get the poop before her it was a nothing but a poop grabing dirty little game she was playing with me

How could I dare tell anyone obout this poopy game?

she did this everyday she would poop to get me coming to her then she grabed it! even after
taking her outside! I was exhausted with her poopy game!

what was I to do?

Till one day I was watching "Dog Whisperer" who I truly adore
This one evening "Dog Whisperer" had on his show he titled it
somthing like "Little doggie has a nasty little secret!"

He had this shih tzu that ate her poop all the time and the owners
were just like you! crying out for help

Well "Dog whisperer" Milan is it? what he did is after the dog
pooped Milan had a bannana always in his pocket and right after
the dog pooped Milan broke off a piece of the bananna and put it
under the doggies nose to derail the doggies sense of smelling
the poop to the bananna. but Milan had to make sure that he
was there all the time the doggie pooped

Result the doggie smells the bananna and likes it better then the poop. As the doggie is eating the bannanna quickly go and clean up
the poop dispose of it and then clean up where the poop was if it was
on the kitchen floor then use a good detergent of some kind to get the poop smell away NOthing harmful to your pet so pick out your
cleaners appropriately

Always carry a bannnana with you in your purse it works but you
must be persistant and aware each time your puppy poops

Soon Milans shih tzu knew he would get a piece of bannanna soon
after he pooped and he like the bannanna better then the poop
but you must be there to assist

also if you have a doggie that wants your food keep a bannanna
and again break off a piece and put it under doggies nose and give it to the doggie But this is after you have corrected your doggie
with no nos because he is not allowed your food

these are two completely differant types of bannanna scenios

let me know if you do this and how it works

I wish you best as I am going to be doing this next time

Bella doesn't just eat her own poo. she'll eat any dogs poo!
I was thinking maybe if I just keep her in that would cut off her exposure to it. If I could litter tain her to a self cleaning litter box then it might solve the problem. If anyone knows anything about this please help!

Thanks in advance!
