I bought it once trying to save money. It didn't work and ended up buying the more expensive stuff anyway. If you are concerned about an allergic reaction then the best thing would be to discuss alternatives with your vet. I had to take Roxie to the vet today for skin and hair problems. Trying to decide right now if it was from flea meds or allergies. If it's from the flea meds the vet said there are other things we can try. Haven't discussed what yet.
