she drinks a full water bowl (small sized) a day. and sometimes more if we go out more than once. is that normal?
she pees several times a day. most are just barely yellow...mostly clear. (she pees on pads so i can see)

Hmmmm, hate to tell ya...but this might warrant some looking into a little w/ your vet. Excessive drinking/peeing can be a sign of many things - and if her pee is very dilute (clear, not yellow), this would be an indication that she may be over-drinking.
