LuLu is 16 months old and Papi is 8 months old and I have never left them. Please tell me they will adjust fine. I have taken a room in my house and made it their room. Their beds, wee wee pads, toy box, food, water....everything is in there. But....I just cannot let them have "free roam" of the house. I am to afraid they might get into something that could harm them. I know I am a "worry wart," but I just love them so much. Please be in prayer for me and them and especially Papi NEXT Tuesday. Thanks so much!
I know how ya feel, I hate leaving my babies! Here's the thing though...and I had never really thought of this angle - I think it is SO much safer for the dogs to be in one small area. Here is why (one of many reasons, but the scariest one for me) - about a year ago, someone tried to break into our house, they got the screen out, and the window open -- then, they must have heard our alarm go off, bc they left and nothing was stolen. My dogs are confined to our master bathroom (nice and spacious) -- but IF they had been loose in the house, you can be sure they would've gone right up to that burglar to say "hi" and he could have reached in and stolen them!!! So, wow, was I ever grateful that I keep them confined. So, I totally agree w/ your confining them.

Let us know how Papi does next week!
