no cod liver oil in yorkies or maltese as many have liver issues and cod liver oil is too high in vitamin a and has no anti-inflammatory action in it.

Welcome to Nordic Naturals omega 3 for pets but i would only supplement for like your dog has dry skin or allergies as you do not want to borrow trouble and while rare fatty acids can trigger pancreatitis and yorkies are highly prone to this - also if your dog has high triglycerides ever on blood work do not supplement with any fatty acids as that means your dog naturally has a high fat content in blood and that is a blood panel done after a 12 hr fast
