Sometimes it does and sometimes not! My boy does the little chicken scratch action after he poos and so it almost always falls off if it is caught in the tail hair. It's the price you pay for a full coat...........but oh so worth it to me. But it happens with my maltese as well and sometimes I have to give the back tail hair a little shake to get it off........again, the price you pay for a full coat.
