Different people use different things. Some use the regular nail clippers for dogs....I use the kind that look like they have scissor handles. (I don't know what they're called
) Others use regular people nail clippers, and some use a dremel (sp?).
The first time I cut Gizmo's nails, I took him to the vet and the vet assistant showed me how to do it. I worried because the nail is black and you can't see where the quick starts. Once, I had that figured out, it was better.
