I am a breeder and I also have 6 dogs right now. I use the family room as a dog bedroom so the dogs have their own place to sleep at night and to hangout when I am not home. I work mostly from home so the dogs are usually with me all day free to go in the house and have access to my small backyard.When the females have puppies, the whelping box is in the living room .
So really with one or two "dog's room" set up in your house and a backyard you can EASILY accommodate 6 small dogs....Why this kennel? Look REALLY fishy to me...

my thoughts exactly. Especially if you have all the land she has, your house is probably plenty big enough to accomodate 6 dogs. If not, you could add a room. The whole seperate house thing does sound fishy.
