I think the food aggression could be solved just by you being stern with Snickers. Practice covering his food, and when he growls, flick his nose. it really shouldn't hurt, but it will surprise him. also, put him on his back and stand over him like the alpha dog in a pack. by showing you are the aggressive one, he will learn that what you say goes. I've done that with both my dogs, and a little kid can literally take something from his bowl or mouth (like a ball or bone), and he gives it up. good luck to you!
