Last year some storms came through while my husband were out having dinner. There were some really strong winds and it caused our front door to fly open. We pulled into our driveway and saw the front door wide open and our Rat Terrier and Cocker Spaniel standing in the door way. We jumped out of the car and ran inside and our Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix (well, he's a rescue so that's what we
think he is) was no where to be found. My husband jumped in the car and started searching the neighborhood for him while I got on the computer and started making some flyers. Over the next few weeks I walked and left a flyer on every door in my neighborhood and we searched and searched. He even had a tag on and we never got any calls and eventually had to give up.
Well, last night about 10 pm, I was laying on the couch watching TV when I thought I heard something at the front door. My husband was in the other room so I called him in here to check because it concerned me. He opened the front door, looked down and goes "what the heck?!...Charlie!". I poked my head around the corner and saw my Charlie!! I started hysterically crying and giving him hugs. We was jumping up and down and giving me kisses. I cannot believe he came home and just scratched at the front door! The only thing I can figure out is that someone had found him and decided to keep him and last night we got away and came home! I am still in shock. Him and Tobie are getting along great and I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow to have him checked out. We have 4 furbabies now
