They either (silk screen type) paint it on. Or it can be embroidered. If you go to a place called "Embroidme"

They can digitize a logo and embroider it on, or it says they also can print it on. I haven't used them before, but I know they have stores in lots of places if you wanted to bring a shirt in. Or maybe you could do it all online. Let us know what you find out.
You might still want to see who did your company's shirts and try them.
