I think it'd be great to include a short, easy "cheat sheet" - like bullet points that say -- for example, things like -> never use a collar for leashing yorkies due to CT vulnerability, do not change food or add any new food for at least 3 wks, never allow a vet to give rabies the same day as any other shots, signs of hypoglycemia are ___, don't allow yorkies alone w/ very young kids or big dogs....etc etc...you get the idea.

And then, I also love Mardelin's idea of websites - like Dr. Dodd's vaccine schedule site, and others.
The short quick list is statement that states, when in doubt contact your vet and/or me and my number is plastered all over their baby book.

You are right about the NutriCal. However, I do included instructions on it's administering. If over done it can lead to Diabetis.

I add a copy of Dr Dodd's Vaccination Protocol. As well as my preferance, as their breeder on rabies administration, lyme, corona.

Supplying as much information to them as possible. My baby books read like a copy of War & Peace....started out small, but has grown over the years.

I pretty much don't place my pups in families with young children or with large dogs.
