Their father was very silvery and the mother darker. Im not familiar with the yorkie breeds from babies (always had older dogs)... so just curious about this. Eventually we do want to show... so that too is interesting to know wether they are more showable lighter or darker? |
You aren't only looking at the dam and sire, you are looking at the pups entire pedigree.....color is something you can't predict.
I prefer that a dog not to start to break color until they are between 9 and 10 months. You are more concerned with the dogs structure.
