Another sad situation is this-these people are usually licensed by USDA the same as are farmers who raise cattle, goats and horses. The laws governing them says zero about keeping their coats clean. An animal MUST have access to shelter, food and water. The humaneness or lack of it is not legislated and these people can, and do, get by with what we call neglect, and still obey the law.
I might be wrong in this, but I think not. If I am, someone please quote the correct law or interpretation of that law. And, I am not intending to criticize anyone on this forum..
Yeah, those poor pups looked awful even the one that was almost pick-up because of being sold. I wouldn't buy it just based on the looks. That poor thing was so dirt. The other one was so filthy it had yellowis-orange coloring from its behind , I don't know if it was from dirt, poop, or what the heck.
