Just curious, how does that factor in? Mine girls are strictly house dogs and they have very regular heats. Of course they get sunshine through the windows but they don't go outside.
YorkieLover30's dog is having her first heat at 12 months so I doubt she had a silent heat prior to that. Most of my females have come in heat around 8 to 10 months for their first heat.
