I just posted a natural recipe on a thread regarding fleas...Another member posted this quite a while ago...I saved the recipe....just did this this morning...if you look through the threads you may find it. Also,....my Mom called a Holistic vet....he told her to take 15 drops of peppermint oil to 1 cup of water...put it in a small spray bottle and shake it up...do not spray directly on the animal...spray a rag or towel and rub it on the dog...especially the underside,,,under legs, on belly and neck area...and on the back...kinda like you are drying her off after a bath...I just spoke with my Mom...she is in Maine right now the the mosquitoes are not nice up there!! She used this on Callie and said it is working!! It also repels other biting insects including ticks...I say it's worth a try and it's NOT chemicals...I am on my way up there wednesday and going to try it on the girls...they don't have fleas but, I am also worried about ticks and the other nasty little biters up there.
