It is best not to bring your own dog unless they are showing. We have seen owners dogs that do not show run across rings, bark at the ones in the ring, or block the entrance to the ring. This can be upsetting to the exhibitors. It is hard enough showing let alone when these other things are going on. They are starting to crack down on this now, my club mentioned it for the last year's show and they mentioned it again for this show to be on the watch.
Was the show in WPB?? You had to see some very nice yorkies. I am so glad you went. It really is a lot of fun no matter which part of showing you do. My daughter is getting into obediance and ally and I do confirmation. It is so nie though to go as a family. |
Yes it was in WPB . I really just loved it and getting to see all the different dogs that I have only seen in magizines was the best like( Irish Wolf hound) When we watched the Yorkies in the ring I made sure we were up close. We didn't want to miss anything. The one thing I noticed was that the dog's didn't have the haircut under there eyes. My groomer always cuts Kiki's. I really like the way the show dogs muzzle looked with the hair long under the eye. I took my daughter with me ,she had alote of fun. I plan on also going to watch the agility trials that are going to be held in WPB I believe in August.
