Sadie's stitches came out this morning (2 weeks post surgery today) and the ortho surgeon says the knees feel good so far. She had both knees done grooves and pins in both. He wants her in a crate for 4 more weeks then he will check her again. She seems to feel great-it has just been difficult keeping her calm and in a crate.
I would highly recommend having a board certified ortho surgeon perform the surgery if surgery is what you decide. Ours came highly recommended and is very open and honest and explained everything thoroughly to me.
