Please call your vet immediately and ask if they specifically checked for "pyometra".
It often appears a few weeks after a heat cycle - can be an open or closed pyometra - and you list almost ALL the symptoms. Pyometra is an infection in the uterus and in most cases the female needs an emergency spay.
Five is a little young for this to happen......but I just had it happen to my 4 1/2 year old silky about 60 days ago and she had an emergency spay and is doing well now.
