Hi there, and Welcome to YT ! Can you tell us why they are in such a rush to rehome the puppies at such a young age? Yorkies really are too small to leave their mother and litter mates until 12 weeks. They are not like other breeds . Please inform the owners this fact. Maybe they are not informed of this detail? yorkies are very small puppies and are risk of Hypoglcemia , and also need time to socialize with their mother and littermates. If taken to early they lose out on this , which can cause behavioral problems for them when older.
If you bring home such a young puppy you are risking the puppy all kinds of health problems, esp. Hypo. If you are not there to treat the pup , the puppy is going to die. Even after a week of being home, that is not going to be long enough for the puppy . It is going to depend on the weight of the puppy, if the puppy is able to eat on it's own, how well the puppy is eating on it's own . This is why the pup needs to be monitered. Please try talking to the people and not letting any of these puppies leave until older.
