Hi,
It sounds like maybe it's the pen. If your pen has a door leave it open so the she can come out when she feels like it (when your home of course). You could try to consistantly feed her only outside of the pen, give her a treat and play with her immediately when she comes out of it. Then she can associate good things with coming out of her pen.
