He can't handle owning such a fragile dog and worries about her constantly. She really has "stolen his heart" as he says, which I find so funny considering that he didn't even want a Yorkie in the first place. These little cuties sure know how to turn a tough guy into mush.
Anyways, I was expecting some people to bash me, and I was prepared for that. Alot of people feel that Yorkies and small children don't mix. My children are very kind and gentle with animals, and would never intentionally hurt any animal. They were devastated when this happened to Missy. We implemented alot of new "house rules" when we got Missy and the children have been incredible about following each and every one of them. They aren't even allowed to hold Missy while standing up and they must be seated on the floor with Missy in their lap if they want to hold her. I thought that we had taken every precaution to make sure that Missy was safe, but I guess not. I'm just so glad that she is OK.
Thanks again for all the kind and supportive posts. I appreciate it |
You know what kids are kids. they mean no harm. It was an accident that's all. I can't tell you how many times my Pebbles (4lbs) gets under something. Who would ever have thought that she would take off under that chair. . I hate when my husband is in the recliner I am constantly saying be careful she's under there. Missy just wanted a little snack that's all!! Sure am glad she is fine and now the kids learned another thing they can't do. (Poor kids

) I know what it is like I have 4. I personally think the kids are much easier than these little boogers!!
