Roxy had both legs done at the same time. During surgery, based on the Ortho Surgeon's experience and due to Roxy's legs having a slight curvature, she felt Roxy would do well by just deepening the groves, and tighten up the ligaments.

At the 6 week check up, her right leg was luxating again. She had surgery again, this time the surgeon did the cut and pin LP that she was planning on doing at the first surgery.

About 6 months later, her left leg started to luxate again. We were going to fix that one too, but she had a staph infection that we couldn't get rid of and we had just found out she has liver issues (MVD). So I put it off. I am giving her Cosiqun every day and she is doing well. I don't know if I am going to fix the other one or not, putting her under bc of her MVD scares me so much

IF she has to have surgery, my advice is a Board Cert. Ortho Specialist AND the cut/pin type of LP surgery
