To me, Daisy is my fragile little thing and I just don't want to give her food poisioning since their tummies are so sensitive.
Can you please share your logic/stories/reasons for feeding raw? I am very interested in it.

Dogs are carnivores by nature, so they are naturally meat eaters. Their bodies are designed to digest meats and high amounts of protein. Raw is the closest to dogs' natural diet. I believe the raw diet is the most carnivorous of everything available. I sincerely wish my baby would eat it.
There is nothing harmful about the raw diet, although you do have to handle it as raw meat, but it's no different than when we handle raw meats everyday for our families. I would be more afraid of food poisoning in commercial kibble/canned food than I would with the raw diet.
Labs and yorkies are two different breeds, but there is no difference in that they are canines, and therefore carnivores. Their diet by nature would not differ.

A good summary:
Raw diets provide nutrition the way nature intended. Nature’s Variety Raw Frozen Diets are formulated like the ancestral diet with 95% meat, organs, and raw ground bone, and with wholesome fruits and vegetables. Dogs and cats are meat eaters by nature. A diet consisting primarily of raw meat, organ meats, bone, and fat reflects what your pet would eat in its natural habitat. Since dogs and cats are carnivores by nature, they thrive on a diet rich in nutritious meat.

Not everybody, however, is comfortable feeding a raw diet. It's definitely not to say that it's the only perfect diet for dogs, and you ought to be feeding it. Not at all. There are those who prefer kibble/canned, HK or homecooking over raw. You have to be comfortable with what you're feeding your babies.

Hope that helps.
