Zaccheus stopped jumping on the bed, and then the couch. Then I noticed he was walking funny, kind of a bunny hop sort of thing. Then he started holding his right leg off the floor when he was standing.
His progression came on fast and hard. The vet was very surprised.
He is doing great now, walking regularly most of the time. He still holds his foot up sometimes, and his muscle mass is considerably diminished. All of this should recover over time, I understand.
Legs popping sounds more like luxating patellas. Zacchie's leg never popped at all.
