Hi. I am suppose to be getting a Yorkie puppy from a co worker (actually his in laws who live about 5 hours away) my co worker told me this mornign that my puppy will be coming home in a few weeks. I was suprised because they are only 3.5 weeks old and i thought that yorkies were suppose to stay with the mom and litter mates until at least 10 weeks of age. I said that to him and he said no we are getting him at 6 weeks. His inlaws are bringing all 4 of the puppies here at the same time to deliever them to the new homes so i can't tell them that i don't want my puppy until 10 weeks, they will give it to someone else and we already love our Sammy. Please any advice would be appercaited. Is it ok for us to take him into our home at 6 weeks of age?
