Since Prince is 9 months old, I'm wondering if he's still under a 1 year warranty with your breeder?
I would also check with your state to see if you have a Doggy Lemon Law statute, too.
My son just went thru a similar situation with his puppy and the breeder offered to pay for Vet expenses or refund the purchase price with my son keeping the puppy.
He ended up accepting the first offer as his puppy had a congenital disorder that will be lifelong so, it made more sense financially.
