I'm just going by what the vet told me. I have since called him back and he said that if she dosen't whelp by tonight I need to bring her in tomorrow morning. I can hear the heartbeats and the puppies are very active. Today is day 62. She ate a little yogurt and kibble. I'm kinda scared also because the vet had me thinking that she should have whelped already. Could I be confusing panting with her just being tired. Panting is when they breath really hard with their tongue habging out of their mouth right? She has been doing that since noon today. She also did it yesterday evening but it stopped. She's not acting sick and her temp is 98.0. |
