Reagan is an escape artist too. She jumps as high as she can then climbs over the rest, my husband watched her do it. We put a piece of card board on the top and she hasn't done it since. We took a retangular piece about the length of the door opening/babygate and about 8 or so inches wide and bent it in the middle long ways. Then we just sit it on top of the baby gate. I don't know if when she's looking up at it (since it hangs over a bit) she figures she can't get over it or if maybe it kinda scares her so she isn't even going to attempt it but she hasn't made it out. I'm guessing that she tried because if she hit it it would fall down. If try this and they do jump and knock the cardboard off you could attach it with tape or maybe a nail or something. Just thought you guys might find our tip handy.
