As far as micro chipping children goes....I've seen some irresponsible parents out there that can't keep up with their small children, and they could benefit from having their children chipped. Someone finds them....scan them and send them home. Are you kidding, you really think the United States Constitution is going to all your civil rights to be violated to the point that the government could put a mandatory chip in you? Won't happen. They don't need to anyway. They already know just about every move we make. We just want to do everything we can to keep up with our furbabies! It's extra protection for them for only a few dollars.

The next time I go to my vet I will definatly question why they don't check the chip and I want my chip checked to make sure it works. Pebbles had 2 chips because the first one she had was defective and didn't register on the scanner. She is only 4 lbs and I can only feel 1 under the skin. She couldn't care less about it. Coco has a Home Again chip and it is 14.99 to register every year.
Good point. I know they put it in Tia during her spay but I can't feel it and Im going to get it checked that it works too.
