Isn't it strange how a year can make such a difference in our lives? At this time last year, I was working at Washington Mutual, hadn't adopted Sophia yet and never would have dreamed I would be writing from California.

Keep busy with volunteer efforts via telecommuting for People United for Pets in Washington. Complete all of the microchip registrations and very rewarding. Joined the local garden club, and looking for more volunteer efforts.

However, I am dragging my feet to change license plates (supposed to within 20 days), and found out I don't have to acquire California driver's license until mine WA. expires in January. Hooray! There is something about seeing the WA. license on my car that makes me comfortable.

How is everyone? Susie, I still think about Tink and when I look at her picture, it is so vivid when she was so ill. Prognosis was dark...however, Tink had lots to do yet in her life. Are you feeling well? Moving?

Let's see. How is Judy and those delightful pups? Wemple (Kathy) sounds like you are enjoying your job and it is rewarding. What is Winston up to?

Bought a new camera, and will shoot a few pictures of the pups to post. My old digital, which took great pictures, kept freezing up when the lens would appear.

Take good care and glad to see the email from Tink's Rowdy Mom in Gmail account.

Warmly,
Deborah, Charlie and Sophia
Hi Deborah! Nice to see you again. We've missed you. Good to hear you are settling in at your new home and have found some opportunities to keep you busy. I understand about the license plate. When I moved to Wisconsin many years ago, I was sad to give up my Illinois plates. Now, if I get to move to Texas, I'll probably feel the same about my Wisconsin plates.

I am doing very well. I can walk without my cane on a flat surface - like my living room, and haven't used the walker for weeks! My back is giving me some trouble, but I expected that.

Tink sends some nose licks to Uncle Charlie and a hug to Sophia.

They did a bunch of blood test today and she said she'd call me with the results on Monday. She gave him an injection for the nausea, an antibiotic and something to coat his stomach...hoping to calm it down, so he can eat. Poor little guy is exhausted and fast asleep right now...I worry about him, so much.
Hoping all is well with every one...keep my boy in your prayers...please.
Kathy, I'm sorry to hear about little Winston. I too am glad you were able to get him to a specialist. Poor little guy, I imagine he is just miserable. Tell him Tink sends him a lick - that might perk him up a little. I hope he starts getting better soon. Keep us posted!
