Oh my gosh, that is so very tragic. We have stairs too that Lucy loves to run up and down while dragging her toys. I'm so afraid that something like this will happen one day. Maybe it's time to limit her "exercise" to just one level of the house at a time.
I am so very sad over the loss of your sweet baby. Thank goodness she didn't suffer though. It is extremely hard when they are suffering and then knowing when to make a final decision. You are in my prayers.
