My Mom contacted a Holistic Vet and asked about a holistic pet shampoo that would help with fleas, mosquitoes, ticks and any other typed of biting insects. This vet told her NOT to go buy anything special....He told her to mix peppermint oil with water (in a spray bottle)....spray and towel then wipe it over the animal...under the neck, legs, belly...he said this will repel all that I mentioned above...We are going to Maine on Wednesday and taking the furgirls with us (of course!)..The mosquitoes there are HORRIBLE!! I am going to try this up in Maine...will let you all know how it works!
