sounds like staph or fungal - hopefully not demodex so i would have a mite scraping for demodex as demodex affects the head and cytology for bacteria -- i would go to a dermatologist for this as they can narrow it down much faster than most vets can and in long run save you money
does it look like any of my pics as have been dealing with skin issues for 5 years
