Well, Maddy is nearly 7 pounds, so she is alot bigger than a hamster... I close all bedroom doors and she only has access to certain parts of the house. There is no mess around my house... this is basically the only thing that was a danger to her. I am so glad she is ok. I learned my lesson. Perhaps I will keep her in the kitchen while we are gone... I am not one to keep her in a crate... personally, I think its cruel.
Being a shopaholic, when things get ruined or break, I just think of it as an excuse to shop! LOL!
